Brothers,

Brothers may I begin by wishing you and your families a most blessed Easter season.

I want to thank John Lacroix, Ted Lontine and all those who helped at our recent pancake breakfast. We served many of our parishioners and realized a nice profit for our council.

I also appreciate the brothers who manned our membership table on March 18th. We had several visitors and gave out 5 membership applications.

I hope we'll have a good turnout for our April meeting (remember, it's on the 15th). We will present the nominating committee's slate of officers for 2012-13. We will vote for our officers at our May meeting. Remember, you may offer additional nominees from the floor before the vote is taken.

I feel obliged once again to urge inactive members to consider the need of our council and our parish to have more active involvement. As the parish embarks on our growth program, we will be called on more and more to lend our assistance. I've heard complaints from brothers that it's always the knights who are called on for projects. Well, when you think about it, we should be pleased rather than upset since our primary goal as a council is to support our parish. To do so adequately, however, will require more man power than we can currently provide. So, Brothers, once again, if you've been inactive, come on down to a meeting and see what we're up to and give us your input, good or bad and, active brothers, let's find some new members.
